The mission is to provide technology experiences that are tailored to fit enterprises’ needs by utilising a verticalised business approach in networking, communications, and cloud. Rainbow Office powered by RingCentral will broaden and enhance the company’s cloud portfolio. Customers will be empowered to accelerate their digital transformation with public UCaaS.

“Customers demand agile, robust and secured cloud communication and collaboration solutions in today’s high-speed technology world,” said Jack Chen, CEO of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, continuing:

“For our customers and partners, this strategic partnership enables us to offer them a wider choice of technology-leading cloud solutions, to comprehensively cover their business needs”

“This partnership will also enable Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to accelerate the development and transformation of our cloud business to become the number one player in cloud solutions in Europe and beyond focusing on vertical solutions and services to make everything connect. It will bring significant opportunities for our well-established business partner ecosystem and strong values for our customers.”

RingCentral have now, with this partnership with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, partnered with three major players to provide ‘powered by RingCentral’ cloud solutions; Avaya Cloud Office was announced back in June of this year, with Unify Office from Atos only being announced in July. Are there more partnerships in the pipeline for RingCentral?

As part of the commercial agreement, both organisations will contribute resources towards sales, marketing and development of the new offering. RingCentral will pay Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise $100 million in cash for exclusive access, a minimum seat commitment, and future commissions.

Rainbow Office powered by RingCentral is due to be available in Q1 2021 – watch this space for more information.
