Global innovator in wireless solutions for collaboration and displays, ScreenBeam, recently announced a new solution for modern teams. ScreenBeam conference will bring support for leading video conferencing services to the already successful ScreenBeam contactless presentation platform.

ScreenBeam users will be able to host a hybrid meeting with Conference using their personal laptop and the conferencing tool of their choice, while taking advantage of existing meeting room equipment. The offering is now available with every 1100 Plus display receiver from ScreenBeam, and there are no additional licensing or hardware fees to worry about.

Delivering BYOM Solutions for Hybrid Work

Now that hybrid work is emerging as the preferred model for the modern workplace, companies are spending more time and money on tools to empower the anywhere worker. 72% of executives say they’re planning on investing more in virtual collaboration tools, while 57% plan on expanding their conference room budget to enable more hybrid interactions.

The challenge for companies approaching the hybrid working environment will be in finding successful ways to blend in-person and remote participants. Solutions need to be suitable for both groups, and these tools need to work in any environment, including non-UC spaces.

ScreenBeam conference is a solution embracing the new BYOM trend for hybrid work. Available with every ScreenBeam 110 Plus receiver, the solution allows content on the room display to stream seamlessly to remote participants and in-room employees. Host devices connect automatically and wirelessly to room soundbars, microphones, and cameras, allowing for exceptional flexibility. Hosts also gain complete control over meeting room systems, with options to override meeting room systems with person video choices, and more.

ScreenBeam removes the need to share dongles, tablets, and cables in a meeting room, improving the safety of the future office space. Deployment is also quick and simple, with HDMI output for wireless connections to room displays, multiple USB port options, and auto-switching functionality. ScreenBeam 1100 Plus users can also easily connect with a traditional room system to provide a contactless and wireless presentation experience on any device.

Advantages of The ScreenBeam Experience

ScreenBeam Conference eliminates the common issues associated with a conference room being locked into a specific conferencing tool. Users can wirelessly connect to AV equipment, and remote participants can see shared content easily. Users also get the benefit of reduced costs, with fewer licensing fees and dedicated hardware investments required.

According to VP and GM for ScreenBeam, Mike Ehlenberger, replicating spontaneous collaboration in a secure and safe environment is crucial for all customers and partners in the current landscape. The key to success is ensuring that technology doesn’t get in the way of the end-user, or break the bank, as many customers have multiple buildings and rooms to retrofit going forward. ScreenBeam already offered an easy-to-use environment, and adding conferencing solutions into the existing hardware simply took the functionality of the tool to the next level.

All new and current 1100 Plus clients can download the beta version of the software for free.
