Five9 Aim for World CCaaS Domination
A video interview with Five9, filmed during GITEX 2019, examining its plans for expanding its global partner network
UC Today attended GITEX 2019. One of the world’s biggest technology events, GITEX, takes place annually in Dubai and focuses on various areas of technology including communications.
Customer experience provision is one of the main focus areas at GITEX and, as one of the world’s leading providers of CCaaS solutions, Five9 was in attendance to support one of its Middle Eastern Partners, Gulf CX.
During this year’s show the UC Today team caught up with Five9’s VP for EMEA Channels, Thomas John, to discuss the importance of partners as Five9 seeks to expand its reach globally. John explains that co-selling and co-marketing are key to Five9’s strategic goals across various regions. Working with local partners, such as Gulf CX, gives Five9 invaluable knowledge in different regions and a platform to reach more organisations with its cloud native CX provision platforms.
Patrick asks Thomas John about Five9’s progression in the other regions that John overseas. John explains that working with the UK as its primary overseas hub Five9 has now began to expand its reach into the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and now Asia.
When it comes to attracting new partners Five9 is leveraging its innovative solutions – which include the use of AI and gamification – to offer partners the opportunity to provide the most cutting edge CX solutions in the relative markets. CX platform provision can provide partners with entirely new revenue streams which is becoming increasingly attractive as competiton increases globally.
