Earlier this month, a brand-new entry arrived in the cloud communications space. Edify, a business dedicated to customer experience solutions offered through the flexibility of the cloud has now made its debut. The company is the newest innovative solution available for companies hoping to explore the potential of next-level customer experience solutions. Edify was launched by veterans in the contact centre and customer experience space, Cameron Weeks (above, left) and Bracken Fields.
Previously, Bracken Fields and Cameron Weeks were partners in Back Ventures. Fields was also a CTO of Sharpen, while Weeks was the co-founder and CEO. The two industry experts created Edify to solve critical issues facing today’s organisations. They believe that currently, businesses don’t have the technology they need to meet the ever-changing demands of omni-channel customers, and the agents responsible for assisting them.
Born from History in the CX Space
Edify may be brand-new to the customer experience market, but the two men responsible for its development are not. Both Fields and Weeks founded their first VoIP company more than a decade again in 2007, while they were studying at Purdue University. Today, the company has grown to become one of the world’s leading customer service platforms.
In a press release about the new business, Weeks commented that he and his partner have spent their lives within the customer experience industry, building tools for innovation. Weeks and Fields are committed to designing the tools that help brands to connect more effectively both internally and externally. Weeks noted that while they have brought numerous ideas into the market over the years, Edify will allow them to build the pioneering platform they envision.
Edify has officially launched as a global platform for communications with the ambition of making connections easier both with customers and teams. The business will be released additional details about its upcoming offerings as part of their product release announcement at enterprise connect, claiming:
“Edify is the first of its kind cloud-based business communications tool, combining the core functionality of Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)/Private Branch Exchange phone system (PBX) platforms with customer success tools.”
