Drive Your Headset Sales Further Forward
New opportunities for Resellers after new law
New legislation provides an ideal opportunity for resellers to accelerate their headset sales into top gear – following tougher mobile phones laws whilst driving.
Distributor Nimans has already witnessed a 15% spike in demand for Bluetooth enabled devices since the clampdown came into force at the beginning of March – where drivers face six penalty points and a £200 fine.
Motorists who receive six penalty points within two years of passing their test already face having their licence revoked, meaning new drivers caught using a mobile would revert to a provisional licence.
Nimans offers a wealth of Bluetooth headset solutions from all the major manufacturers to ensure your customers stay safe – and avoid the much harsher penalties.
Headset Business Manager, Jason Welsh confirmed: “In the opening few weeks since the legislation came into force Nimans has experienced a sharp rise in demand for headset devices from resellers. Our dedicated headset team offers the best advice combined with competitively-priced solutions from all the leading manufacturers. Don’t put yourself or allow your customers to put their staff at risk.”
He emphasised: “Many of today’s Bluetooth headsets offer much more than just standard voice functionality as they are an inherent part of the overall Unified Communications mix. For example they can provide presence capabilities via Skype For Business thanks to inbuilt sensors. So a colleague in the office knows instantly if the wearer is available to take a call. It’s about being safe and working productively and intuitively.”
