German IP phone specialist Snom Technology is embarking on an ambitious expansion course in 2017 following the VTech takeover. High profile hires Jörg Kampers and Christian Rapp have already joined the team bringing many years of market knowledge and experience to help drive Snom and further additions to the team are planned.
Jörg Kampers will focus his efforts on strengthening Snom’s position in Benelux and Nordic countries by supporting existing sales partners and acquiring new ones. Prior to joining Snom, Kampers was Sales Director Germany at Broadsoft following a role at Avaya as Director Global Service Provider in telecommunications and network technology.
Christian Rapp, Snom Sales Manager DACH, has more than 15 years’ telecommunications experience and has worked as a product manager in wholesale and also as a system house consultant with responsibilities in purchasing, sales, training, service and direct support for resellers. Rapp returned to Snom, where he previously worked from 2011 to 2015, on 1 January 2017 following a short intermezzo at Baudisch Electronic. He is responsible for Southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein.
