Nimans has bolstered its comprehensive conferencing portfolio by welcoming the launch of two innovative new additions – the Polycom Trio 8500 for mid-sized conference rooms – and Polycom’s VoxBox, a compact and portable speakerphone for team and personal spaces.

Nimans says the Polycom Trio 8500 sets new standards in conference collaboration for mid-sized rooms. Users can experience full, rich distraction-free audio with Polycom’s unrivalled voice quality and patented NoiseBlock technology – making sure every conversation is crystal clear.

“Start calls on time, every time, with the modern, intuitive interface and with the broadest interoperability in its class, users are free to deploy on all leading voice platforms from SIP to Microsoft’s Skype for Business,” says Ian Brindle, Nimans’ Head of Conferencing Sales. “What’s more, future-proof options for video and content ensure the freedom to expand collaboration on leading unified communications platforms.”

Turning to the VoxBox, Ian explained:

“VoxBox is Polycom’s  first entry into the growing USB and Bluetooth speakerphone category and unlike other consumer Bluetooth devices it is optimised for conference calls using HD voice and Noiseblock functionality. VoxBox is also water and dust resistant.”

In a further boost Polycom’s original Trio 8800 has been enhanced by a new software update that adds in-room wireless content sharing, multi-line registrations simplifying operation – and closer integration with other ecosystem partners such as Microsoft. It will also support Polycom’s 12x MPTZ camera for use in medium and large room environments.

Ian concluded: “These latest additions provide resellers with a lucrative array of upgrade and greenfield opportunities to open up many more sales doors.”
