UC terminal solutions vendor Yealink has added to its range of superfast desktop telephones with a new addition to its T2 range.

The T27G joins the T23G and T29G models offering Gigabit ready office telephones for the unified communications market.

The latest addition is aimed at customers still looking to migrate from fast ethernet to super high speed Gigabit ethernet connections. It comes with an integrated switch allowing the phone to operate on both speeds. Users will be able operate the phone on their existing ethernet connections, and then switch to the faster speed when they upgrade.

As well as the Gigabit ethernet switch, the T27G features a number of hardware and software upgrades on existing models in the range. These include a built-in USB port plus Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, meaning it can be paired with other devices to support a wider range of UC functions.

Robust Choice

Stone Lu, vice president of Yealink, said: “Yealink’s T2 series is a reliable desktop voice solution that includes the essence of our decade-long industry experience, and the phone line aims to provide the industry’s leading HD audio quality and great value for business users.

“By enhancing the T2 line with the T27G, we offer our partners and business customers another robust endpoint choice that is future-ready and that protects their investment. Installed with our recently-released V81 firmware, our T2 series offers stronger HD audio performance, a better user experience and simpler management.”

Yealink’s T2 series uses the G.722 codec to deliver high-definition voice quality through a HD handset and speaker. The high resolution displays are coupled with up to 48 keys and offer a wide range of configuration options, call settings and access to the express XML browser. The entire range supports security standards TLS, SRTP, HTTPS, 802.1X, Open VPN and AES encryption to ensure all communications remain confidential and to protect against electronic eavesdropping and data theft.

Founded in Xiamen, China in 2001, Yealink has specialised in UC terminal solutions unifying voice, video and data. It markets products for businesses of all sizes and for a full range of business applications.

The company’s product portfolio includes video conferencing systems, conference phones, desk IP phones, wireless DECT phones and accessories, and more.  Most products are designed to integrate seamlessly with leading server and UC platforms including 3CX, Asterisk, BroadSoft, Elastix, GENBAND, Genesys, Metaswitch and Microsoft.
