UC EXPO kicked off in ExCel London today with a record-breaking attendance and insight into the inner workings of collaboration in Formula 1, thanks to keynote speaker Alan Peasland, Head of Technical Partnerships at Red Bull Racing.
Peasland took to the stage in front of a packed audience and shared how the Red Bull Racing team rely on the networking and UC expertise of AT&T to connect their highly mobile workforce as they race around the world.
AI was another popular topic of discussion, with a captivating talk from futurist Ben Hammersley looking at the AI apocalypse and how organisations need to plan for the future with AI in the workplace. Noam Fine, General Manager at i.am+ also delved into the impact AI is having on our workplace, sharing the stage with AI assistant AneedA to discuss how business communication is going to change. Whilst Simon Michael, Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft also shared his views on the role of Chat Bots and AI as digital ice breakers.

As for Day Two of UC EXPO, which opens today at 9:30am (Thursday 18th May), the day will begin with Snorre Kjesbu, VP/GM Cisco Collaboration End Points Technology Group at Cisco sharing how disruption is the new normal in businesses when it comes to collaboration.
