Whilst we were covering ISE 2018 this week, we were lucky enough to catch-up with Ed Morgan, CMO at DisplayNote Technologies so he could tell us about their latest offering, Mosaic.

DisplayNote's Mosaic Software
Mosaic Software Interface

Mosaic is a whiteboard software solution to enable multi-faceted collaboration for end users. Ed was kind enough to demonstrate the software for us, showcasing its ability to connect teams in different locations or offices with each other. Our demonstration included real time collaboration with other independent Mosaic systems with video and live document collaboration. Teams can interact using voice and video, but Mosaic also enables them to work together simultaneously on projects as if they were in one location with access to the same interactive display. As well as allowing real-time geographical collaboration, Mosaic also gives users the ability to share and edit images, files and documents as it supports display to device and device to display interaction. Designed with large format displays in mind users are able to share what’s on a display with connected mobile devices, laptops or smartphones and cast them wirelessly to the shared space.

Part of the launch was the announcement that the Mosaic Software will be combined with OEM partner NEC as the primary collaboration tool pre-installed in their range of new InfinityBoard solutions. As well as the partnership with NEC, Mosaic will be utilsied by Sahara’s CleverTouch Pro series.

“That’s really the big news for us at ISE, its the first time we have really taken Moscaic out of the building. We have tried to make it as user friendly as possible, UX first, but thinking then about wider Enterprise needs around security, deployment and management”

Compatibility with well established collaboration platforms is also keen for user uptake. So DisplayNote are in the process of enabling applications such as Skype for Business, Google Hangouts and other leading video conferencing providers.
