PGi Lands Mark Roberts as Chief Marketing Officer

The former ShoreTel man brings 25 years’ experience to the role

PGi, the global dedicated provider of collaboration solutions, has announced the appointment of Mark Roberts as their new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Mark, who brings with him a 25-year track record of building brands, driving demand and transforming high-tech companies, was most recently responsible for transforming the marketing function at ShoreTel from focusing on products to becoming one of the leading companies in the UCaaS space.

“Mark’s experience, passion for the communications industry and visionary leadership make him the ideal choice for our CMO role,” said PGi President and CEO Don Joos. “I am excited about Mark joining the team as we focus on our next stage of growth.”

Meanwhile, June McCarthy, who led the marketing function as part of her responsibilities, will transition to Executive Vice President, Corporate Programs & Planning.
