According to the latest press release from NICE inContact, “Vidyo” the video conferencing expert recently joined the DEVone development program to offer new products on the CXexchange marketplace. For those of you who haven’t visited the marketplace before, it’s currently renowned as one of the best, and most innovative network for customer experience solutions. The products on the CXexchange are designed to work seamlessly with the world’s favourite cloud customer experience platform, “NICE inContact CXone”

In a world obsessed with the next thing in customer experience (CX), it’s no surprise that video expert Vidyo would want to get involved. Known for offering smooth and reliable real-time enabled video technology to the market, Vidyo can enhance the CXone portfolio with a range of high-definition video communication solutions.

NICE and VidyoEngage

Perhaps the most appealing result of Vidyo’s decision to join the CXexchange marketplace is the delivery of their “VidyoEngage” system to NICE inContact customers. Essentially, the system will allow companies to enjoy a more flexible solution to real-time video interactions, through face-to-face contact that can be hosted on any device.

Besides exceptional-quality video that launches directly from the NICE user dashboard, customers will also be able to access a range of simple, yet important telephony features, such as the ability to share documents, add new people to video calls and transfer data seamlessly on their platform. Basically, the new solution will mean that customers can easily escalate customer contact situations into video chats whenever the situation requires it.

For Vidyo, the partnership is all about making the customer service experience more “omni-channel” in nature. According to the CEO, Eran Westman, the collaboration with NICE, and the chance to become a part of the CXexchange is simply another way for Vidyo to help companies take that next step towards digital transformation (DX).

What to Expect

According to the CEO of NICE inContact, Paul Jarman, the DEVone partner platform means that companies like Vidyo can become a more significant part of the CXone portfolio, implementing new features for NICE inContact customers. With Vidyo, customers will now be able to transform their communication experiences with the opportunity to access scalable, high-definition video chat solutions within their customer service environment.

Because everything works seamlessly together, companies will be able to respond to the dynamic needs of their customers in a way that requires minimal training and IT expertise. Since NICE inContact serves around 25,000 organisations across more than 150 countries, Vidyo has made a smart move bringing their solution into the CXexchange marketplace.
