Communicate Better has finished its summer spending spree after completing its third acquisition in as many months by buying sister companies Chilli Telecom Ltd and BE IP Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Integrated technology provider Communicate Better had previously purchased Northampton based Telemaxx Limited, plus the business mobile phone specialist, Vision Communications based in South Wales.

The purchase of this latest telecoms provider offers Communicate Better the opportunity to expand its geographical coverage into the Yorkshire area and consolidates the ever-growing East Yorkshire presence that it has had after the previous purchase of TTS Communications in 2013.

Wayne Cartwright, CEO of Communicate Better, commented:

“We are delighted with this acquisition as it’s the third company that we have targeted this year. All three transactions have completed which is testament to the hard work and due diligence the team have put in. It’s a significant achievement completing multiple acquisitions at the same time, all three give us different opportunities to expand the business which is our ultimate strategy.”

Chilli Telecom was established in 2009 and specialises in the supply and installation of traditional telephone systems, maintenance and network services. The current offices are to remain in place along with the staff.

Communicate Better were advised by Keith Kennedy of Pearson Legal and Sam Davies of Cowgill Holloway LLP.

Sam Davies, Corporate Finance Director, who led the Cowgill Holloway Corporate Finance advisory team, commented:

“It’s been a busy few months for Communicate Better and we are extremely pleased that we have been able to help with this latest acquisition.”

“Having worked with the guys at Communicate Better for many years now, we understand the strategy and are able to facilitate transactions that enhance the groups position of becoming one of the UK’s leading business technology suppliers.”

Keith Kennedy, Corporate Partner at Pearson Legal commented: “We are once again delighted to have helped Communicate Better with its latest acquisition and look forward to continuing to help the Group on its successful journey of the last few years”.
