As business communication strategies continue to evolve, companies from almost every background are investing more time and effort into streamlining the modern workforce. Recently, NFON revealed that they had been more successful than ever during 2017, acquiring a range of new partnerships, successfully completing product launches, and opening capital city offices across Berlin.

A Great Year for NFON AG

Alongside the launch of their new NFON SIP Trunk in 2017, NFON AG also officially entered the cloud communications market in Portugal and introduced the NFON Partner-board to expand their go-to-market strategy. Apparently, 2017 is the best year that the company has seen so far, ever since they were founded around a decade ago. According to CEO Hans Szymanski, the brand couldn’t be happier with the results they achieved in what many considered to be a trying year.

During the Spring of 2017, NFON AG came to terms over their collaboration with T-Systems – a move that allowed them to pool the considerable knowledge of both companies into an innovative new partnership. Today, T-Systems can offer a brand-new service to their community thanks to NFON, which allows them to serve larger companies in search of Unified Communications.

Another buzzword for NFON AG in 2017 was “wholesale”, particularly after they signed a corporative agreement with Pironet AG – one of the most popular providers of fully-managed services in the cloud computing industry of Germany. In August, the business progressed even further with an extended agreement between NFON and acmeo GmbH.

Expanding Across Europe

Besides some incredibly strong partnerships throughout the previous year, another aspect of NFON’s successful growth strategy has been their decision to expand across Europe and scale to meet the needs of new customers. The Financial Times acknowledged the expansion in April last year, including NFON AG on their FT1000 list.

Soon after, in May 2017, Frost & Sullivan gave NFON AG their own nod of approval with the Growth Excellence Leadership Award, thanks to their exceptional development based on strong diversification, and a compelling price-performance ratio. In the past year, NFON AG has been able to truly establish itself as a competitor in the European market for both /unified-communications/ucaas and VoIP, responding to today’s ever-more-significant customer needs.

A Positive View of the Future

As they look ahead at the years to come, NFON AG believes that they’re prepared for a successful future, based on their fantastic reputation in the European marketplace. The strategy for international growth will continue throughout 2018, and this summer, the company will be replacing some of the current systems to innovate even further.

What’s more, another headquarters expansion is planned for the office in Munich, which coincides with the brand’s plan to grow their workforce by 25% by the close of this year.
