Following this year’s BroadSoft Connections conference, we’ve seen several changes taking place within the company’s portfolio, as the brand focuses on expanding its services to suit an ever-more-demanding consumer base. Recently, the global leader in UCaaS and CCaaS strategies announced that it would be delivering a new-and-improved HD meeting experience, better opportunities for mobile workstream collaboration, and even a SaaS deployment for its flagship UC&C offering, UC-One.

BroadSoft has been continuously focused on developing an ever-more intuitive and seamless experience through their UC-One application. According to the Chief Technology Officer for the company, Scott Hoffpauir, the latest enhancements could be a step in the right direction when it comes to making sure that the product continues to transform workplace productivity and innovation.

Introducing Improved Mobile Workstream Collaboration

The enhanced UC-One Connect application for mobile has been fitted with a range of fantastic features intended to improve workflow and productivity. Currently, the most significant updates include enhancements to HD VoIP video and audio, as well as an optimised landing page for the web app, intended to help customers create customised access screens for their clients.

Besides the delivery of the mobile app, BroadSoft is also exploring new ways to give their customers a more unified level of user experience. For instance, the UC-One extensions now present in the Team-One app should allow users to initiate “click-to-call” meetings instantly, or reach out to specialists through quick and effective chat. Additionally, UC-One users should also soon be able to view and respond intuitively to workspace messages and shared files in the Team-One app, without having to step outside of their current UC experience.

BroadSoft Meet and UC-One SaaS

One of the most recent updates from the BroadSoft brand to hit the market lately has been “BroadSoft Meet”, a fully-integrated mobile virtual meeting room that gives users access to a more consistent and intuitive experience across all BroadSoft Business solutions. The “Meet” service means that teams and guests can collaborate seamlessly with screen sharing, messaging services, HD voice and video using a range of devices. With one-click join and hassle-free switching, BroadSoft Meet can introduce better cross-company collaboration to the workplace.

Additionally, to improve time-to-market, and simplify UC-One management, BroadSoft has created a new deployment option for BroadWorks customers in the form of a “SaaS” offering. With the SaaS strategy, customers can access a brandable microsite solution that includes end-user self-activation, simplified collateral, and 30-day free trials to overcome some of the challenges involved with UC adoption, deployment, and branding.

The service comes in a ready-to-use package which features all the essential options for collaboration and can be scaled to meet the needs of various business sizes.

BroadSoft Opportunities Continue to Grow

Despite the obvious changes we’re bound to see in BroadSoft with the Cisco purchase on the horizon, it appears the company is continuing to expand. Today, UC-One is available across over 30 countries, with local strategies that give multi-national enterprises a more comprehensive, multi-language strategy for their collaboration efforts.

Overall, the BroadSoft Business platform is a simple, effective, and fully-integrated portfolio of unified communication options, enterprise-ready cloud-based PBX, and contact centre solutions. Thanks to the latest updates, customers may have more benefits to access from BroadSoft than ever before.
