Global experts in the design of high-performance, award-winning conference phones, Konftel, are just about to launch their new collection of audio and video endpoints on the 19th April, during the Exertis PLUG-IN partner event. These new items will also appear at the UC Expo on May the 16th and 17th. The updated devices come after a record-breaking year for the brand, and CEO Peter Renkel was thrilled to announce the introduction of conference cameras to the Konftel portfolio.

After more than three decades of success selling conference phones, it makes sense that Konftel would want to upgrade their portfolio with video solutions too. The range of combined video and audio endpoints, known as “Konftel Collaboration” comes with products to suit small, medium, and large business meetings. Each package comes with conference phones, hubs, and cameras.

High-Quality Cameras for High-Quality Audio

Konftel prides themselves on putting customers first, and according to the Director of Global Sales, Tommy Edlund, that’s why the brand has begun to explore the possibilities of video endpoints. The Konftel Collaboration portfolio is designed to offer immersive meeting experiences without the hassle for companies of all shapes and sizes.

To start with, the collaboration packages will include two HD conference cameras, including, the Konftel Cam20 which sends video in 4K resolution with a 120-degree field of view. The Konftel Cam40 on the other hand is a PTZ conference camera with 12 times optical zoom and 1080p resolution. For small companies, the Konftel Collaboration strategy will include Konftel Cam20 and the Konftel Ego speakerphone. On the other hand, solutions built for mid to large businesses will come with Konftel Cam40 and a choice of hybrid conference phones from the Konftel 300 series.

According to the Sales Director for Konftel UK, Jeff May, the brand is glad to have two high-profile events to help them launch their new portfolio in the best way possible. Though PLUG-IN is a reseller-only event, it will give the company a chance to inform the channel of upcoming releases, while UC EXPO will allow resellers to invite customers along to see the new Konftel lineup for themselves.

Konftel noted that they’ll be looking for ways to offer the best value for money along with easy-to-adopt solutions in their Collaboration suite. Whether companies are using Zoom, Skype for Business, or a range of other services, they’ll be able to add Konftel endpoints to their communication infrastructure, with a simple and effective hybrid approach.

Konftel cameras will also be launched separately as individual products to serve customers that have requested new ways to build on initial investments. Konftel believes that their new venture will open the door to new markets, and global shipments will begin in the third quarter of this year.
