Daisy Group, the UK’s largest independent provider of business communications, IT and cloud services, is set to add Ultrafast Fibre Broadband to its range of Connectivity products for small to medium-sized businesses.  It is the first time that these companies will be able to sign up to “Ultrafast Fibre Broadband” from an independent supplier. Daisy Ultrafast Broadband offers download speeds of up to 330 MB and upload speeds of up to 50MB.

Ultrafast Broadband is more reliable than existing broadband options and over four times faster than the previous highest speed Daisy was able to offer businesses. They now have a choice of products – Daisy Broadband, Daisy Superfast Broadband and Daisy Ultrafast Broadband – depending on their needs.

Ultrafast Broadband enables faster processing without the need to invest in hard-wired Ethernet access to the internet. It can help increase productivity and efficiency; reduce money-wasting downtime; and provide easy access to the latest cloud technology.

As well as faster broadband, Daisy Ultrafast Broadband customers can access all the benefits that come with working with Daisy such as a fully integrated service including voice, mobile, broadband security and business continuity. As an independent provider, Daisy is vendor, carrier and network agnostic so customers get the right solution at the right price with one point of contact if there is a problem. Everything is presented in one easy to understand, comprehensive monthly bill.

The service will be initially available to businesses in 13 locations: Bristol, Cardiff, County Durham, Devon, East Sussex, Essex, Greater Manchester, Kent, Lancashire, Suffolk, West Sussex, Yorkshire, and Lancashire.

Walter Rossi, ‎Director of Architecture and Strategy, Daisy Group, said:

“Daisy Ultrafast Broadband is an exciting addition to our range of Connectivity products. Not since mobile, has there been a technology that is so potentially transformative for businesses.”

“As well as being more reliable, it means companies can increase their productivity, through simple things, such as reducing time waiting for large files to download. Importantly, it means companies will have the bandwidth to explore the technologies that will drive progress in the future such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Virtual Reality.

“It is a major addition to our range of products. It means we provide businesses with a variety of connectivity options, ranging from simple broadband to dedicated internet access solutions and managed MPLS services. We offer a tailored, business-grade, ‘always on’ connection – with performance and price levels to suit the business, and the scale and capacity to grow as they do.”
