OSS Networks, SIA, a provider of cloud-based UC services in the Baltic region, has joined Enreach, in a continuation of its European expansion strategy. The company boasts its own mobile cloud PBX platform, called Smartmex, which will be integrated into Enreach’s portfolio for customers and partners, which include mobile operators. The deal is a further step in Enreach’s strategy to acquire market leading European UC specialists that can bring customers and products to its portfolio.

“Together Enreach and OSS Networks will target new service providers in the Baltics and adjacent markets by integrating the clean and highly effective Smartmex mobile cloud PBX platform from OSS Networks into the Enreach product portfolio,” says Stijn Nijhuis, the CEO of Enreach. “This will enable us to offer even more innovative products to help our customers and partners, while making us the leading challenger in this high-growth UCaaS marketplace and reinforcing our existing mobile-first approach.”

OSS Networks, which is headquartered in Riga, Latvia, has more than doubled its revenues over the last three years and its services are used by 1,100 customers in the region. Established in 2010, the company has developed its own cloud products and has partnerships across the Baltics. The deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Enreach, which is backed by investment company Waterland, to expand its presence across Europe.

OSS Networks will continue to be based in Riga and all three founding partners, Armands Meinarts, the CEO, Juris Breicis and Mārtiņš Gailītis, will continue to manage the existing business and to drive new growth for Enreach in the region. The team of 26 people, which includes a product and service development team, will also be maintained in Riga and led by Meinarts.

“OSS Networks is the telecommunications cloud service pioneer in the Baltic market with our client base corresponding to over 40% of Baltic SMEs using cloud-based solutions and 33,000 existing cloud seats,” says Meinarts. “Through the combination of our local expertise and Enreach’s track record in targeting service providers we will unlock new business opportunities. This will provide greater value to business customers and partners in the Baltics.”

With Enreach, OSS Networks will also further benefit from the expected growth in the Baltic cloud market with our locally-hosted cloud PBX solutions”

Enreach plans to integrate the OSS Networks Smartmex platform to its offering while also bringing the portfolio of Enreach UCaaS, CCaaS and cloud productivity solutions to the Baltics region. “OSS Networks has established a solid position for itself in the Baltics with its unique value proposition to a diversified customer base, including long-standing client relationships with some of the largest telecom operators in the region,” adds Nijhuis. “We are extremely pleased to welcome OSS Networks to our group.”
