Babble has completed its fifth and sixth acquisitions this year as the British comms company furthers its expansion across the South of England.

The newest acquisitions mean that Babble will take over Salisbury-based Berry Telecom and Cavendish Communications Group Limited in Newhaven.

Babble has made 21 acquisitions since 2019, with nine in 2021 and six in 2022, making the business the UK’s most acquisitive technology company, according to ICON Corporate Finance.

Matt ParkerBabble CEO, commented: “Berry and Cavendish have a strong track record of providing their customers with an exceptional level of service.

“Where we will add value is bringing even more innovation and variety with the technology we can offer.

“We’re delighted to welcome more great talent into Babble, and together we can evolve the technology estates of our new customers to enable them to grow faster and more securely.”

Berry and Cavendish serve approximately 2,400 customers between them, and the acquisitions will see Babble’s comms pillar grow and provide more strategic locations in the South of England.

The customers of both companies will now have the opportunity to enhance their technology and switch to cloud-based services following the takeover.

In July, Babble expanded into Essex and Yorkshire when the company made another double acquisition of ADSI and Yorkshire Telecoms.

Before that, the company bolstered its presence in the North-West of England by acquiring comms provider Active.

Babble has other locations across Scotland, the North East of England, the Midlands, and London.

The company works with over 16,000 organisations in a range of sectors which include financial, health, education, travel, public services, and more.
