Voiceflex is making its new API-first partner portal generally available to all of its partners and clients.

The portal was rewritten to provide Voiceflex’s channel partners greater API connectivity, allowing them to configure numbers with compatible features, track orders, order data services, and more.

Voiceflex is offering a range of its services via the portal, including its new UCaaS platform, Voiceflex Flow, SIP trunking, and call recording.

James Arnold-Roberts, CEO of Voiceflex, said: “I’m delighted that this will now be available to all of our clients.

“It’s truly a portal for today’s marketplace – it’s designed to be evergreen, and will continue to evolve as Voiceflex evolves, forever adapting to the needs of the market and our customers.

“It is just another example of Voiceflex’s drive to continue to grow and innovate.”

As well as improved API connectivity, features of the partner portal also include automated international number ordering process, which provides feedback on each country’s requirements with number activation updates.

Users can personalise their portal to suit their needs by providing the option to view only the Voiceflex services and solutions that they wish to sell to customers. Partners can now integrate the portal with their own portals, easing the experience for their own customers.

The portal will be continually upgraded, subsequent to the launch, with new services and features added as they become available.

Instead of rewriting the entire code for the portal, developers have taken an API-first approach.

According to Voiceflex, the new portal will improve the service Voiceflex is offering its clients, as well as the services that its clients will be able to offer their customers. Clients can enjoy greater transparency, easy access to information, and enhanced applications and management tools.

Some of Voiceflex’s partners have already been using its new portal, during its beta phase in June. They have helped Voiceflex to fix bugs and improve its speed and overall user experience.

There is no additional cost for partners to use the portal, and the old version will still be accessible.

Voiceflex’s CCO, Paul Taylor, said: “Today’s customers are looking for more autonomy and automation than ever, and this new portal has been designed around that need.

“The world is constantly changing, so our clients need a portal that’s shaped around the digital world. It’s been engineered to give them more flexibility and help them to have more worthwhile conversations with their own customers.

“The portal meets a growing need for choice, and we’re pleased to finally be able to offer it to all our clients.”

Since it was founded in 2005, Voiceflex’s channel partner numbers have risen to more than 1,000.

The company says its partner base is continuing to grow and it is meeting the demand with innovative solutions, such as its redesigned partner portal.

Recently, Voiceflex introduced QR codes as a simplified WebRTC voice calling alternative. WebRTC lets internet users make free voice calls from anywhere in the world by using an embedded ‘Click to Call’ button. By clicking the button, a call is forwarded to a mobile phone, landline, SIP server or a WebRTC virtual phone.

UC Today spoke to Taylor about Voiceflex’s new UCaaS offering and why it is a good fit for channel partners.
