NUWAVE has launched iPILOT ASCENT to be the world’s first fully automated self-enabling voice platform for Microsoft Operator Connect.

The enablement tool automates the entire voice set up process of Operator Connect so once a carrier enables IPILOT ASCENT, a customer can purchase it without having to communicate with the carrier.

iPILOT’s ASCENT allows an immediate turn up of voice services by enabling customers to self-provision Operator’s OC voice within minutes. By leveraging IPILOT’s proprietary automation platform, customers can provision services without any human intervention.

David Spears, Chief Product Officer at NUWAVE, said: “The Voice industry is uniquely positioned for mass adoption of Microsoft Teams using Carrier network voice, but the ability to enable these global users is slower to realize based on the reliance of legacy methodologies to deliver enterprise voice in the cloud.

“iPILOT Ascent is a positive disruptor in the market as this end customer self-service enhancement is specifically designed for our carrier partner community to quickly and immediately scale their voice services into a new Microsoft Teams Operator Connect program ability.

“There isn’t a need for a salesperson or an engineer, it’s 100 percent automated and it’s very easy to just step through process for the end customer.”

NUWAVE has designed the software not to require any additional code which eliminates complex set-up processes.

Spears said that ASCENT will be particularly useful for onboarding SMBs to Operator Connect. The level of automation means that service providers are essentially “passive selling”, he added, because there is not a requirement for a salesperson to communicate with the customer.

iPILOT ASCENT is available to NUWAVE’s partners for no additional cost, with the company predicting businesses could see a significant savings range when moving from a legacy deployment support model.

“This has never been done before for Operator Connect,” Spears added. “It’s new and something that I believe Microsoft will see as a catalyst in solving scale in market.
