Pragma Upgrades its iPECS Cloud UCaaS Platform

Pragma has announced upgrades to its iPECS Cloud 5.0 UCaaS platform which will expand the product offering for its channel partners.  

The upgrade to the iPECS Cloud platform opens up a number of new features for iPECS ONE and iPECS, Analytics, as well as iPECS Cloud.  

IPECS Cloud currently hosts 100,000 users on its platform, and Pragma believes the renewed offering should make it even easier for channel partners to gain new clients.  

Andy Herring, Pragma’s Product Marketing Manager, said:

“We’re really excited to launch Cloud 5.0. We’re confident this upgrade will enhance the delivery of our collaboration and reporting services to give our partners a killer UCaaS proposition to take to their customers.”  

Key updates to iPECS Cloud 5.0 include iPECS ONE collaboration service improvements and integration with Microsoft Productivity tools.  

Further enhancements to iPECS ONE are device integration for Android and iOS mobile users and call recording and compliance features.  

IPECS ONE updates are centred around increasing user experience and helping administrators and compliance teams manage voice communications.  

According to Pragma, the latest release fulfils Ericsson-LG’s and Pragma’s commitment to improving customer experience.  

IPECS Analytics is the customer experience centrepiece of the offering, and many more CX-related tools and features have been added.  

Pragma’s Operations Director, Grace Lawless, said: “We are delighted to provide our partners with greater value through the launch of Cloud 5.0.  

“Having just returned from visiting the Ericsson-LG Enterprise Research and Development team in South Korea, this is just the first of many exciting updates and new features that will be released over the next 18 months.”  

Pragma was founded in 2012 by Will Morey, David George, and Tim Brooks as a channel-focussed distribution company.  

The company’s chief purpose is to support Ericsson-LG and its resellers in delivering UC solutions.  

Pragma’s iPECS Cloud has undergone a number of upgrades. Last year, for example, introduced the new WebRTC tool, iPECS ONE. Before this, Pragma’s Cloud 3.5 solution included an automated provisioning service for IP phones and updates to aid its channel partners.  

In 2020, Pragma launched iPECS Cloud Mobile in collaboration with Tango Networks.  

The company has made several acquisitions over the years. In March this year, it acquired Techland and formed the EnableX Group with Techland and Candio.
