Sangoma Releases TeamHub Collaboration Solution

Sangoma has released its TeamHub collaboration solution, which brings together all of Sangoma’s cloud services into a single platform.  

TeamHub includes chatting, video meetings, voice calls, contacts, file sharing, notifications, contact centre, business productivity applications, and more.  

Sangoma believes that TeamHub is set apart from other collaboration products through its unified GUI (graphical user interface), which compiles every Sangoma cloud service. It also makes Sangoma’s cloud services, which have not yet been purchased, viewable to the user.  

Shawn Berry, SVP of Global Cloud Channel Sales at Jenne, Inc., said: “As a top cloud services broker, we have sold many cloud communication products.  

“The concept of delivering a collaboration solution integrated with a vendor’s UCaaS and VMaaS platform so that users can chat, call, and have video meetings in one place, is great!  

“Many of our customers do not want to utilize a third-party collaboration product that is not integrated with their UC and video meeting products.”  

TeamHub Features  

TeamHub is closely integrated with Sangoma’s UcaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS productivity apps, video meetings products, and more.  

Built-in softphone enables flexible PSTN calling and extension-to-extension dialling. Internal and external contacts can be merged into the same comms platform. TeamHub also integrates with Sangoma’s P-series desk phones.  

Users can send instant messages and chat with people inside or outside of their company.  

Further TeamHub capabilities include file sharing, file storage, annotation, and whiteboarding.  

Sangoma has a ‘try before you buy offer for TeamHub, and the company will soon enable purchasing and licensing directly by the end-user via Sangoma’s eCommerce integration inside the user interface.

In March, Sangoma acquired NetFortris for $68m, bolstering its managed service provider offerings. Last year, it acquired Star2Star for $437m to help satisfy customer demands for an integrated buying experience.  

Sangoma describes itself as a communications as a service solutions provider for businesses of all sizes. Its cloud-based services include UCaaS, CCaaS, VMaaS, CPaaS, FaaS, DaaS, and ACaaS.  

 Sangoma also has a suite of communication products, such as desk phones, headsets, and connectivity devices.
