Swoop Datacom Ltd today proudly announced the launch of the ForgeServe cloud based SaaS platform, adopted by leading value-added distributor Electronic Frontier to meet the needs of their channel business and enabling growth in to the ever-expanding IP telephony space. ForgeServe is the world’s first commercial, vendor agnostic, multi-tier, white label, IP device provisioning and management platform. ForgeServe bridges the gap between traditional telecoms and IP based SIP technology adoption. Enabling multi-vendor unification, which provides a direct benefit to reseller, aggregator, ITSP or integrator propositions, enabling them to cater for today’s ever developing customer requirements.

The ForgeServe deployment and management portal allows any compatible IP device to be zero touch provisioned, managed and maintained while utilising simplistic methodologies. This allows untrained or inexperienced individuals and organisations to easily adopt cutting edge IP technologies and enables zero touch rollout and provisioning.

“With ForgeServe we are able to deliver improved profitability for the platform users, margin retention against time and resource is often overlooked, however it can increase profits considerably if properly managed” explained John Bennett, CEO, Swoop Datacom Ltd and the brainchild behind this new product.

“ForgeServe can help operators reduce the cost of deployment and management of IP telephony devices. We enable users to simplify operations through product distribution reducing operational costs and increasing profitability.”

Electronic Frontier offers a “per device” billing model to allow integrators and operators to maximise revenue return and avoid sunk costs investment risks in a rapidly evolving market. The product allows zero touch integration into order processing, logistics allocation and deployment planning.

“ForgeServe will be invaluable in creating significant new opportunities for IP Phones and for developing new supply chain and channel relationships. It creates the potential for fully managed services for IP product monitoring, deployment, QoS and support from a single source location with clean and clear instructions,” explained Conor McCann, Electronic Frontier Managing Director.

“It enables the customer to manage, provision and maintain services to their entire estate, with visibility of location, firmware, status, health, warranty and output of preferences.”

“This means that the requirement to move provider is negated and that is extremely valuable to us,” added McCann.
