Unified comms and SIP trunking provider has acquired GoContact to enhance its CCaaS offering.

Portugal-based GoContact has contact centre operations in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Angola and Colombia. Its cloud-native platform includes integrated omnichannel and AI-based solutions.

Broadvoice CEO, Jim Murphy, said: “This transaction delivers immediate synergies for both companies.

“GoContact has an extraordinary growth story thanks to its powerful cloud-native platform, market position in the fast-growing business process outsourcing vertical, and extraordinary team of professionals on the ground in three continents”

“The complementary technologies, expertise and geographic reach of our combined resources will accelerate the growth of our newly combined company.”

Broadvoice said the combined company will benefit from its leadership in the American UCaaS market and GoContact’s leadership in the EMEA contact centre market.

The UCaaS and CCaaS offerings will also create cross-selling opportunities.

GoContact CEO, Rui Margues, said: “Broadvoice checked every box as GoContact’s growth partner— from our shared customer-first approach to investment in top-tier talent and technology.

Margues will stay in his position as GoContact CEO, while GoContact CTO João Camarate will service as CTO of the combined company.
