According to recent reports, the unified cloud communications leader, 8×8 will be introducing brand-new Virtual Office Editions, intended to unify cloud telephony, collaboration, web conferencing and contact centre solutions with a fantastic data analytics strategy. The latest launch is the result of numerous years of strategic acquisition and innovation by 8×8. It’s aimed at improving the development of new solutions and products that will improve communications between customers externally, and internally.

According to the CEO at 8×8, Vik Verma, the world of siloed communications is coming to an end. Thanks to new technology and innovation developed by 8×8, customers will be able to unify diverse and disparate systems of communication using a single and easy-to-use collaboration platform. This will give companies the chance to communicate and engage with people in a more reliable, streamlined fashion.

Introducing the New 8×8 Editions

8×8 recently achieved the title of “Leader” in the Gartner UCaaS Magic Quadrant for the sixth year in a row. Now, the company is offering their Virtual Office solution in three different editions, designed to give companies from different backgrounds access to the enterprise-class communication strategies they need, featuring a mix-and-match pricing model. Each Virtual Office Edition comes with everything a business needs to collaborate with employees, customers, and partners, including SMS, video, auto attendants, web conferencing and more. The new editions include:

  • X8: – The most “unified” option, the X8 edition of Virtual Office combines contact centre solutions with communication and collaboration. The option includes unlimited calling to 45 countries, alongside HD Voice, HD video, virtual office meetings, call recording, and integration with Salesforce, NetSuite CRM, and Zendesk, among other features. The X8 edition also integrates contact centre options with the 8×8 ContactNow solution to improve interactions between agents, customers, and employees
  • X5: – The X5 edition from 8×8 provides an unlimited option for calling to up to 32 countries, alongside various Virtual Office features including Virtual Office Meetings, HD Voice, and Video, call recording, and integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite CRM, and Zendesk
  • X2: – The 8×8 X2 Virtual Office edition delivers unlimited calling for 14 countries and includes a range of features such as HD Video and Voice, Virtual Office Meetings, and integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite CRM, and Zendesk
