Patrick is joined by special guests Patrick Joggerst, Sanjay Bhatia and Kevin Isacks from Ribbon Communications as we review their Perspectives 2018 event.

First up Patrick is joined by Patrick Joggerst who is the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development for Ribbon Communications. Patrick explains how important the event is for Ribbon and what the main purpose is.

The amount of work that goes into an event like Perspectives is huge but Patrick is also keen to stress the balance between content and interest but also the critical factor which is getting the right people to attend the event. Patrick also moves on to discuss the progress from the merger which created Ribbon which was finalised at the end of 2017.

We then hear from Sanjay Bhatia, Vice President of Solutions Marketing and Strategy for Ribbon. Sanjay explains to Patrick about the importance to Ribbon of the UCaaS and CPaaS markets. Sanjay provides some examples of the customers that are currently using their UCaaS solutions and then moves onto to discuss the potential within their CPaaS portfolio.

Finally Patrick is joined by Kevin Isacks, Vice president of session border controller development at Ribbon. Kevin tells Patrick about the work they have done to integrate with, and offer additional features to, Microsoft Teams. Kevin explains the additional benefits they can offer to Microsoft Teams customers but also how important and exciting that is for Ribbon in terms of a potential growth area.
