Leading worldwide provider of endpoint terminals for Unified Communications,

Back in 2015, Yealink signed up for a third-party interoperability deal with Microsoft, which would allow them to continue building a broader portfolio of products, all equipped with the ability to connect more people through the Skype for Business framework. Now, a broad range of Yealink phones has officially passed the Office365 online edition Skype for Business certification tests, which means that Yealink can officially provide more flexible communication options to its end-users.

Introducing the Approved Skype for Business Models

Yealink have just announced that four of its cloud IP phones (T41PT42GT46G and  T48G) have been certified with Skype for Business providing enhanced qualification with Cloud PBX in Microsoft Office 365. Yealink’s T4 series (T41PT42GT46G and T48GSkype for Business edition can now be deployed in Skype for Business in both on-premises and hybrid environments and for use with Microsoft Office 365.

The Yealink Skype for Business enabled portfolio now includes four different IP phones, which provide solutions for companies all the way from premium-level performance phones, to basic endpoints. That means that regardless of what your business might need – there’s an option available from Yealink.

According to Vice President for the company, Stone Lu, the latest certification from Skype for Business just goes to show the company’s ongoing dedication to providing a more efficient and effective phone experience for Skype for Business users. The senior director for Skype for Business, Tiffany Wissner, noted that Yealink now addresses the growing demand that’s been issued by companies who want to improve their UC experience through the Office 365 productivity suite.

What Does the Skype for Business Certification Mean?

The Skype for Business certification for Yealink phones might not seem like a big deal if you’re not accustomed to using Microsoft technology for your communication and connectivity solutions. However, if you’re already using Microsoft Office for much of your UC&C portfolio, then there’s a good chance that Skype for Business interoperability is important to the natural workflow in your company.

Basically, the certification means that Yealink has undergone extensive research to make sure that Skype for Business customers can use seamless endpoint solutions that allow companies to perform workflow behaviours in a manner that they’ve already grown accustomed to through Office 365. Overall, for businesses who already use Microsoft Skype for Business technology, Yealink endpoint phones could boost adoption rates and interoffice productivity.
