Yeastar’s Xcelerate Channel Program has thousands of partners and over 100,000 global customers. Chris Spicer, MD of Vocaltel, based in the UK, is one such partner who had plenty to say about the 13-year-old modular IP-PBX manufacturer.

Spicer is a veteran of the telecommunications space and present-day Managing Director of UK-based Vocaltel. Back in the 1970s, Spicer says he was a PBX engineer and has since gained experience in running several telecom-focused businesses. Spicer says, he ultimately seized the opportunity to enter the UK market with Yeastar’s Cloud PBX platform as he realized the potential for growth.

For the past seven months, Spicer says they’ve moved over many of their existing customers to Yeastar’s Cloud PBX, and they have plans to migrate even more of their UK-based clients. According to Spicer, they handle clients who have anywhere from five lines and ten extensions, all the way to twenty lines and fifty extensions.

The ability to change elements of Yeastar’s Cloud PBX such as encryption parameters, SIP messaging, etc., gave Spicer the confidence that Yeastar had a quality system, he told me. Addressing support, Spicer further shared, during the month where he tested out Yeastar’s Cloud PBX, he received ‘world-class service without hesitation.’

He did stress, he had a lot of questions while getting his feet wet with Yeastar’s Cloud PBX, but Yeastar’s agents were patient and willing to provide UK-specific resolutions to ensure the most reliable service for Vocaltel clients, long before Spicer was a paying customer.

“The whole appeal of Yeastar is that it is highly-customizable. They gave me free access to a full PBX for a month, which I could use while learning the system. From there, Yeastar’s Cloud PBX enabled me to see all the features of the system, and I discovered the true flexible nature of its Cloud PBX. Yeastar’s Cloud PBX has few limitations, and if you have the skills to change something for a customer, you can do it with relative ease.”

At the ripe age of 13-years-old, Yeastar is budding nicely – it offers exactly what customers need, and nothing less. The company extends full onboarding to resellers through its Xcelerate Channel Program, where they have all the tools for success. They even have access to a suite of UC solutions that enhance CX.

A few months ago, Yeastar announced the launch of its updated partner portal which features a redesigned UI, a new dashboard, a centralized platform to access Yeastar’s value-added services including Linkus Cloud Service, and tools for remote management.
