AVer and Biamp have partnered to produce a groundbreaking camera tracking solution.
This collaboration uses data from Biamp Parlé conferencing microphones featuring Beamtracking technology to automatically activate AVer cameras and prioritise focusing on active participants. This ensures that all participants feel engaged and visible throughout the interaction.
Jose Rincon, Head of Product Management at AVer Europe, said:
We're excited to announce our strategic partnership with Biamp, reinforcing our commitment to revolutionizing audiovisual solutions. By joining forces, we aim to redefine meeting and learning experiences by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge audio technology with our innovative visual solutions. This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in delivering unparalleled audio performance and enhanced collaboration opportunities for our customers."
Beamtracking Parlé microphones continuously detect active speakers in any location within the room. When combined with the advanced capabilities of Biamp Tesira digital signal processors, this voice data results in an immersive audio experience with exceptional clarity in voice reproduction. AVer's camera tracking solution seamlessly integrates with this dynamic data stream, enabling real-time camera movements synchronised with the audio activity.
“Biamp is on a mission to elevate the conferencing experience while making it simpler, from the end-user to the installer, and this collaboration with AVer is one more big step,” added Zach Snook, Director of Product Management at Biamp. “Meeting with colleagues should always be an easy process, and every participant should be seen and heard. These shared principals between Biamp and AVer form a great foundation for continued technology collaboration.”
This system provides versatile camera control options, including presenter tracking for automatic following of the presenter, zone tracking for predefined areas, and a hybrid mode that combines both functionalities. This flexibility, coupled with compatibility with a wide array of AVer cameras and Biamp Parlé conferencing microphones, enables integrators to customise conferencing experiences according to the unique requirements of each room.
Rene Buhay, SVP of Sales & Marketing at AVer Europe, stresses that through the synergy of AVer's proficiency in visual communication and Biamp's acclaimed audio solutions, the partnership aims to establish pioneering benchmarks in meeting and learning environments.
Buhay added, "Together, we'll empower organisations to achieve more through seamless integration and unparalleled audiovisual experiences."
