As the brands latest SME VoIP phone offering, Grandstream claim the GXP1625 offers a suite of powerful VoIP features that improve call quality and ensure agents are able to deliver the best possible service to their callers – but how much truth is there in these claims?
In order to find out, we’ve decided to do a review on the product and test how well it lives up to Grandstream’s reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of high quality business IP phones.

Elegantly designed and rich in features[/caption]
Simple yet modern in design, the GXP1625 offers an abundance of features that are easy-to-use and require next to no training for the user. Black in colour and featuring a 132x48 backlit graphic display for speedy access to all of the phone's features.
What can it do?
Each GXP1625 phone supports 2 lines, 2 SIP accounts and up to 2 call appearances for greater flexibility while the TLS and SRTP security encryption technology built in to every device ensures all calls and accounts are kept secure during every call.
In terms of audio quality, the GXP1625 features HD sound in both the handset and the full-duplex speakerphone to maximise call clarity while the three-way audio conferencing feature allows users to easily engage in conference calls with clients and colleagues at the click of a button.
For hands free calls, the GXP1625 Electric Hook Switch feature provides full support for Plantronics headsets and are the built in Power over Ethernet (PoE) features means the phone is ready to go straight from the box and requires next to no installation time.
