The joint venture between Sennheiser electronic and Demant A/S, Sennheiser Communications A/S announced late last year, a new brand evolution - "EPOS".
Later on this year, 2020, the joint venture will come to a close. Though the business segment of the Mobile Music headsets environment will form a part of the Sennheiser Consumer business in the future, gaming headsets and enterprise solutions will become a new independent company. The new EPOS brand will be managed under the global audio technology group, Demant. They have recently launched their new EPOS website.
Demant is a market leader in audio and hearing technology, offering various unique solutions that help people to communicate and connect in the modern world. The new EPOS brand will be manufacturing and selling existing Sennheiser communication tools for gaming and Enterprise environments, co-branded as EPOS / Sennheiser products. However, EPOS will also be introducing a new portfolio of branded items too.
The Evolution of the New Brand
According to the President of Sennheiser Communications, Jeppe Dalberg-Larsen, the Sennheiser Communications brand has created fantastic results over the last 16 years. In 2019, however, the joint companies entered a period of transition. Dalberg-Larsen will become the new president of EPOS going forward, and he’s excited to lead the brand into an exciting new future. With the growth of the new company, Jeppe and his team want to build on the legacy already built by Sennheiser communications and deliver a strong strategy for growth based on Enterprise and Gaming solutions.
EPOS will be focusing exclusively on Gaming and Enterprise solutions going forward, acting as part of the Demant Group. The connection to the Demant Group means that EPOS will have access to more than 115 years of experience working with sound innovation. At the core of the brand will be a mission to help individuals and teams around the world discover the power of audio.
