K-array has announced a new Kramer Control plug-in for its Kommander amplifier range.
Kramer Control is an enterprise-class cloud-based control and management solution offering IT and AV managers a streamlined method to control, monitor, and support AV systems, infrastructures, and third-party devices. With the integration of the whole API of Kramer Control, the new driver boosts the integration capabilities for K-array's flagship Kommander range of amplifiers.
Matteo Barbaro, Software Product Manager at K-array, commented:
Through Kramer’s intuitive control platform, our Kommander amplifiers can now be implemented seamlessly into a Kramer-based control system. This is an exciting step as integrators now have fewer barriers when it comes to integrating our professional audio solutions into a range of spaces, such as corporate, government or education environments."
K-array stressed that the partnership announcement signifies its ongoing dedication to software development, building upon its previous releases of plug-ins for other control platforms such as Crestron, Q-Sys, AMX, and Control4.
“The technical partnership with Kramer follows our trend of being as compatible as possible with all the control system manufacturers,” added Barbaro. “Our goal is to improve the integration experience whilst eliminating any potential user pain points.”
Barbaro insisted that by providing consultants and integrators with all the necessary tools to interact with and oversee K-array products, they can work more efficiently, ultimately benefiting the end user.
"We’ll continue working to expand the technologies that our products can integrate with and in turn, ensure our solutions are at the front of the minds of integrators when they are specifying on projects," Barbaro said.
K-array suggested that customers can expect additional software partnership announcements from K-array throughout 2024, further solidifying its commitment to innovation and collaboration within the industry.
