More Specifics On The Solution's Feature Set
Lightware's voice-tracking solution is engineered with a suite of features intending to elevate the hybrid meeting experience. Central to its design is the promotion of meeting equity, ensuring that remote participants feel fully engaged as if they were physically present. This aspires to foster a natural flow of conversation among all attendees, irrespective of their location.
The system's intelligent tracking capabilities offer customisation options to either follow presenters or zoom in on specific participants. This makes it useful in settings like classrooms, conference rooms, and remote collaboration spaces where clear, dynamic communication is essential.
To prevent disorienting rapid camera switches during lively debates, the system frames the entire room, providing a comprehensive view when no one is speaking or when the discussion becomes particularly animated.
A fixed camera captures the entire room, while Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras can be directed at individual speakers. Presently, the system is compatible with cameras that use the VISCA protocol. Lightware is also working towards expanding support to include cameras that operate with UVC and E-PTZ protocols, broadening its applicability for future use.
