The Nenuphar restaurant and hotel selected Philips Professional Displays (PPDS) to replace its paper-based posters with digital communications.
Despite being a historic establishment dating back to 1795, the Nenuphar chose to look for a modern solution for its customer communications that would deliver a low-cost and sustainable alternative to paper.
With the support of the local AV integration specialist, TechWorks, it quickly found the Philips Tableau Advanced Colour ePaper digital signage series by PPDS to be the “clear choice” to align with the owners’ vision.
Nenuphar integrated four 25” portable models in the establishment’s bar, restaurant, event, and restroom areas, with the option to move them elsewhere as needed.
Kurt Vangerven, Sales Manager Benelux at PPDS, shared his enthusiasm for the digital transformation at the Nenuphar: “At PPDS, we’re committed to supporting our customers, not only in supplying them with industry-leading, and often world-first, visual solutions but also in helping them achieve their sustainability goals—something as a business we’re incredibly passionate about."
It’s always an exciting moment when we are able to help likeminded businesses like Nenuphar achieve their sustainable ambitions and we were delighted they selected Philips Tableaux to revolutionise their in-house communications.”
‘Zero Power’ Displays
The Philips displays were integrated into the Nanuphar without reportedly affecting carefully curated surroundings and consuming close to zero power.
According to PPDS, Philips Tableaux is a “technological breakthrough” and the first ACeP display series launched by a global display manufacturer.
The range of displays, including 13” and 32” displays, offers a new level of energy savings while producing vivid images 24 hours a day without using even a kilowatt of power for days, weeks, and perhaps years.
These high-quality images are made up of 60,000 colours within the Philips Tableaux 4150 to create an “eye-catching” picture.
New content, such as special offers, restaurant menus, safety messaging, and more, can easily be added to all or some of the displays.
Weighing just 3.5 kgs, the installation uses and locations are unlimited as the displays do not even require power points.
