The German IP Phone manufacturer’s secure redirection and provisioning service SRAPS is the focal point of activity for Snom ever since the start of the novel Coronavirus pandemic. The release of the service comes at a time where companies count on such services, especially in the light of recent global developments. Snom's 'Secure Redirection and Provisioning Service' (SRAPS), a cloud-based service, supports service provider partners and specialist resellers to deploy and manage Snom endpoints quickly, easily, and remotely, according to Snom's Head of Interop & Integration, Mark Wiegleb.

In an interview with Wiegleb, he shared, "The telecommunications system is the communicative backbone of every company and is usually a tailor-made solution." Adding, "Interruptions and errors can be eradicated, and extensions should be implemented as soon as possible."
When the time comes, you want to be able to rely on the service you have, especially during times like we're experiencing right now. "Everything depends on the service provided – and all this takes place against the backdrop of rising costs, mounting pressure, and increasing challenges in the recruitment of specialists," Wiegleb told UC Today.
This is why Snom built its SRAPS service from the ground up, hoping to provide a more reliable service at zero cost to partners and users. It's Secure Redirection and Provisioning Service, Wiegleb shared, is " A powerful and highly professional tool for its business partners, allowing them to change settings, analyze – as well as, diagnose and fix errors remotely."
Undoubtedly its most prominent advantage is the system's ability to perform remote provisioning, which can prove critical during COVID-19. It also lets Snom partners do more with less, and to be more efficient whilst installing phones, managing configuration settings, and updating system firmware from a remote location, all the while maintaining a safe distance from others.
