Sony and Nureva have partnered to create a large-room audio and video bundle that comprises Sony’s SRG series pan-tilt-zoom and remote cameras and Nureva’s Audio Conferencing System.
As part of its camera offering, the electronics and entertainment pioneer, Sony, will include the AI-powered SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 camera, plus its SRG-XP1 box camera.
Nureva is adding its HDL410 audio-conferencing system to provide automated audio-based camera switching for corporate and education environments.
Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO, commented on the new product partnership with Sony: “We are very excited to team up with Sony on solution bundles that meet the demand for simplified full-room audio and multi-camera switching in larger collaboration spaces.
“The combination of Sony cameras and Nureva audio systems delivers the natural viewing and listening experience our mutual customers are looking for.”
Nureva's Audio Meets Sony's Video
The Nureva HDL410 system is a simple and cost-effective solution for IT professionals to utilise in larger spaces.
It offers advanced audio capabilities, such as the latest Microphone Mist technology, which puts thousands of virtual microphones into a space in order to gain full-room audio pickup, no matter which direction participants may be facing or where they choose to sit.
Meanwhile, Sony’s SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 cameras, which make up the SRG-A series of 4K PTZ cameras, have built-in AI analytics to help track and frame presenters, regardless of their posture or movements.
Further Sony features include IP, powerful zoom, simple configuration, and remote controls.
Sony’s compact SRG-XP1 4K 60P IP point-of-view (POV) camera with a wide field of view is also compatible with the Nureva HDL410.
Consultants and design engineers can use reference designs via Sony’s Architects, Consultants, and Engineers (ACE) Portal and through Nureva’s website to assist with integrating the solutions.
Sony and Nureva are both currently exhibiting at Integrates Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona until February 2nd, and they will also be showcasing their technologies at Sony’s AV Tech Expo West in San Diego between February 6th and 7th.
