In a move set to tighten the connection between HR systems and corporate communications, Exclaimer has unveiled a new integration with Workday. The update enables organizations to automatically populate employee email signatures and video meeting themes with up-to-date data directly from their HR system.

By connecting HR-managed information such as job titles, departments, and contact details into Exclaimer’s signature management platform, the integration aims to reduce manual updates and improve consistency across an organization’s digital channels.

Automating the Gap Between HR and Communication Systems

The announcement underscores a growing need to unify identity data across functions traditionally split between IT and HR.

β€œUntil now, there was no direct path between the two, which meant every hire, every promotion, every role change had to be manually reflected across email signatures and meeting branding,” Hammond said.

β€œThat’s a maintenance burden that compounds as organizations grow, and it’s where errors creep in. This integration closes that gap at the source.”

Exclaimer’s new connector creates a bridge between these systems, helping organizations maintain both compliance and credibility across daily emails and meetings.

With this new integration, Exclaimer customers can now designate Workday as a data source for employee details, bringing HR data into Exclaimer alongside existing directory integrations such as Entra ID (Azure AD) and Google Directory.

In practice, this means any updates made in an employee’s HR record can flow automatically into their email signature or video meeting background without manual intervention.

According to Exclaimer’s recent State of Business Email report, over a third of global IT teams consider email signature management among their most time-consuming administrative tasks.
