After two years away from the action, 2600Hz have announced the return of KAZOOcon on May 24th, reuniting partners, developers, and businesses with the latest UC, CC, and CP technologies.
In the past, KAZOOcon has been an in-person, multi-day meeting of the partner community, developers familiar with the KAZOO platform, industry insiders, and the team at 2600Hz. The event is inspired by the platform and has served as a chance to highlight the platform, share exciting updates on upcoming product releases and demos, and share thought leadership.
The event has been on hiatus for the past two years due to the pandemic, but is back on 24th May and, as 2600Hz Co-CEO & Co-Founder Patrick Sullivan explains, the 2600Hz team are excited to have it back on the calendar this year.
“It’s a bit crazy to think that we started KAZOOcon 12 years ago to embrace the developer community to help us grow together. The genesis of KAZOOcon is the way we embrace the hacker mentality, bringing a bunch of developers together in a very low-cost setting, around technology to develop new solutions”
Where will you be gathering this year?
Despite the easing of restrictions worldwide, 2600Hz has taken the decision to make sure COVID could not disrupt the event, deciding to hold it virtually once again, hopefully for the last time.
“This year we decided not to hold KAZOOcon in person because unfortunately COVID is still a huge disruptor for people travelling. Therefore, we’ve decided to hold a virtual event because the best way to meet our goal for the event is to make sure that we're engaging with our community, make sure that they understand the technologies we're launching. I pray that this is our only virtual KAZOOcon, and then next year, we go back to our live event that we prefer.”
What can attendees expect from the event?
Although KAZOOcon will once again be a virtual experience, Sullivan was quick to say that there will not be a shortage of announcements to talk about, as multiple projects come to a head.
