3CX, developer of the next-generation software-based Unified Communications system, is pleased to announce the successful deployment of its popular IP PBX solution at the Raphael Hospital in Hildenborough, Kent. The hospital is an independent institution which specialises in the rehabilitation of adults with neurological disorders. Established in 1983 and set in the unique surroundings of a 17-acre parkland, the hospital is renowned as one of the best facilities of its kind in the country.
With a staff of 600 working throughout the hospital grounds, the Raphael Hospital was in need of a solution that would allow employees to work more efficiently whilst enabling better mobility and a reliable service. Additionally, the hospitals monthly phone bills were proving to be too expensive and their outdated Panasonic system was too costly to scale with the growing number of employees. While assessing new solutions to replace their old PBX, Business and Communications Lead, Jack Wise was impressed with 3CX’s affordability and extensive feature set.
“We’ve been spending a small fortune on a monthly basis for a phone system that lacked the functionalities necessary to maintain our position as a market leading provider. When looking at 3CX, it was partly cost, partly functionality, but a perfect fit.” – Jack Wise, Business and Communications Lead, Raphael Hospital
In working with 3CX Platinum Partner, Fluent Technologies, Raphael Hospital’s brand new hospital phone system was deployed and ready to go in a matter of hours.
