8x8 teamwork transformation

Leading Software-as-a-service provider, 8x8 recently announced two partnerships with leading brands to help drive digital transformation. In September this year, 8x8 worked hand-in-hand with Insight UK, the latest IT solutions provider to join the company's partner programme in the UK to help drive the adoption of cloud technology in the public sector.

Insight is a Fortune 500-ranked provider of global IT solutions that helps organisations to manage their business operations and supply chains. Partnering with 8x8 allowed Insight to introduce its client to the diverse X Series from 8x8, a range of contact centre and collaboration services offering a highly scalable way to transform employee and customer experiences. The X Series brings together video, voice, chat, and contact centre solutions, as well as analytics on the cloud.

The X Series is already used around the UK by countless public sector organisations, including the Ministry of Justice, the National Archives, and more. Insight's unique reach gives 8x8 even more scope to expand its presence in the public sector and continue supporting the movement to cloud.

Helping Businesses into the Cloud

This isn't the only time 8x8 has used teamwork with a huge global organisation to help drive adoption in the cloud either. Also in September this year, 8x8 teamed up with the Charterhouse brand to work on supporting global recruitment brand, MacDonald & Company. MacDonald & Company is a leading professional recruitment organisation with offices around the world. The business has a huge standing in the real-estate industry, working with companies like CBRE, JLL, and British Land.

Charterhouse worked with 8x8 to offer a specific tailored solution to suit the needs of a company as robust and large as Macdonald & Company. According to the latest reports, MacDonald and Company chose the 8x8 X Series as it's worldwide communications solution for it's highly reliable and scalable solutions for voice, video, and chat on a single cloud environment.

Before Macdonald & Company accessed the X Series, the business was dealing with a disjointed selection of systems spread across multiple offices. The brand felt that it needed a solution that was easier to manage and roll out globally and came with an option to link all offices together. The recruitment business was also in need of a platform that could integrate with its recruitment CRM. 8x8 integrates seamlessly with Bullhorn, MacDonald & Company's preferred CRM, offering click to call within the CRM, as well as integrated search and other features.

According to the CTO of Macdonald & Company, Richard Evans, working in the recruitment environment means that you're often out meeting candidates and clients, the business needed a solution that allowed consultants to remain connected on the go, and the X Series enabled that. X Series links desk phones to consultant devices to take client calls and conduct interviews with candidates from any location using WiFi.

Supporting Digital Transformation

With the new technology in place, MacDonald & Company is now in a position where it can better support remote and office workers alike, with worldwide all routing and solutions that allow consultants to manage both international and domestic calls on the go. The X Series from 8x8 also provides access to rich reporting and analytics data, allowing managers to capture trend information, review calls, and collect stats for better efficiency overall. Macdonald & Company believe that the X Series is key to its competitive advantage.

According to CTO of Charterhouse, Paul Hughes, since the company joined the partner programme earlier in 2019, the relationship that they have had with 8x8 has gone from strength to strength. The latest success with MacDonald & Company is just another milestone in a highly successful relationship. Charterhouse's expertise and heritage combined with the leading technology available from 8x8, allowed them to create a truly bespoke offering for Macdonald & Company, poised for evolution in the cloud.

8x8 Managing Director of European Operations, Mary Ellen Genovese, also said that the company was thrilled to be working with MacDonald & Company as they make the move into the cloud environment. 8x8 is confident that is X Series will deliver the communication, collaboration, and productivity offerings that MacDonald & Company need.
