Siris affiliates TPx Comms acquisition

Leading private equity firm with a focus on investing in technology pioneers, Siris recently announced their intention to acquire TPx Communications. Affiliates of Siris have entered an agreement to acquire the US company "TelePacific Holdings Corp" or TPx, although the details of the transaction haven't been disclosed.

The TPx Communications company has a 21-year history of providing exceptional business communication services, through an award-winning product line. TPx Comms offers solutions in everything from managed security, to contact centre support, unified communications, managed WAN, and other network connectivity solutions. Currently, the business serves around 30,000 companies, not-for-profit, and government companies across 50,000 locations worldwide.

Siris' decision to acquire TPx will provide the growing brand with the resources required to continue on a path of rapid growth in today's UCaaS, CCaaS, and managed IT services environment.

The Co-Founder of Siris, Frank Baker, commented on the acquisition in a press release. He noted that for more than 2 decades, TPx had been a leader in the creation of state-of-the-art connectivity and managed service solutions for the North American market. Baker noted that Siris have long admired TPx's products and customer relationship strategy.

For Siris, TPx is an excellent fit for their existing investment strategy, and the company is looking forward to working closely with the TPx team going forward.

Creating a Best-in-Class Communication Solution

Siris CaptalAn Executive Partner at Siris, Joe Cozzolino, said that TPx already offers a fantastic UCaaS and managed IT services solution. The company has received multiple awards over the years, including being named the number 2 managed service providers on the MSP 501 rankings by Channel Futures. What's more, the TPx portfolio also delivers a comprehensive suite of managed WAN, security, and IT services too.

Siris believes that partnering with TPx will help to position the company to address even more evolving customer needs and ensure that the brand stays at the forefront of innovation in IT and UC solutions. The transaction is expected to come to a successful close in the first or second quarter of next year (2020).
