Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) has signed Exertis as its latest UK distributor.

The partnership will see ALE’s networking portfolio, including fixed LAN and wireless LAN switches, become a key brand in the broadliner’s enterprise network offering.

Exertis boasts over 50,000 retailers and resellers and provides clients with on-site capability and consultancy support, which coalesces with ALE’s focus on the customer.

Prior to this deal with Exertis, ALE’s UK distribution partners were limited to Sol Distribution and Nuvola.

“This partnership enables Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to further its reach in the UK and Ireland with a distributor that is widely known and highly respected,” stated Heather Zhang, UKI Country Head at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

“We pride ourselves on our customer-centricity and know that Exertis can uphold our reputation and join us on our mission to assist the digital transformation of business across the globe.”

Tom Cox, Commercial Director Enterprise Division at Exertis, added: “Network connectivity has never been more important for enterprises, with businesses digitalising at a phenomenal rate.

Having the ability to distribute such innovative connectivity solutions is exciting for us, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, and most importantly our customers.”
