Alianza and Bandwidth have partnered to accelerate communication service providers’ (CSP) journey to the cloud.
The team-up brings together Alianza’s full-stack cloud communications and Bandwidth’s network platform and APIs, giving CSPs everything they need to ditch legacy infrastructure and be competitive in the cloud world.
Brian Beutler, CEO at Alianza, said: “Service providers’ legacy communications networks are some of the last bastions of old-school software that haven't moved to the cloud. That’s changing in real-time.
“Together, Alianza and Bandwidth are leading the charge and ushering in a new era of cloud communications in which CSPs can innovate, compete, and win.”
The partnership is designed to help carriers and broadband companies combat the increasing threat from over-the-top providers that often have greater budgets and less or no legacy infrastructure to maintain. These providers are increasingly cutting out CSPs by selling cloud-based offerings direct to customers.
Alianza is encouraging CSPs to migrate from costly legacy infrastructure to cloud-based systems, giving them greater agility and simpler operations management — as well as the flexibility to scale up and down as customer numbers fluctuate.
Alianza said its partnership with Bandwidth lets CSPs make this journey to the cloud without the expense of building out the technology themselves.
Service providers will have access to Bandwith’s APIs, allowing them to transform their infrastructure and deploy feature-rich functionality including voice, messaging, and video conferencing.
