Appspace for Microsoft unifies Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Viva and Power BI to boost workplace comms and productivity.

Appspace workplace platform for Microsoft

Appspace for Microsoft has launched to improve communications and productivity for companies using Microsoft solutions.

The software provider’s latest offering integrates its workplace communications and management platform with Microsoft’s product suite. Appspace’s partnership with Microsoft includes collaboration, engagement and messaging integrations with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Viva, and Power BI. Scott Chao, Chief Growth Officer at Appspace, said: “We specifically designed Appspace for Microsoft to help organizations using Microsoft solutions. “Most companies use Microsoft solutions, and they can now improve their workplace experience through a single offering.

“This industry-first innovation will help organizations around the world bridge their digital and physical workplaces within their Microsoft ecosystems.”

Appspace combines Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Viva with intranet, employee apps, company content and messaging. The platform enables employees to reserve desks and rooms using maps inside Microsoft Outlook. Company messages from SharePoint and insights from Power BI can be shown on digital displays in the office. Describing itself as a “unified workplace experience platform”, Appspace for Microsoft provides apps, add-ins, and integrations designed to enhance Microsoft solutions. In its press release, Appspace explains how its platform simplifies workplace management: “Employees need to be able to find a workspace and conduct meetings in a welcoming office environment. “With Appspace for Microsoft, organizations can elevate the in-office experience by making it simple for employees to find a great workspace. “Through an industry-first integration with Microsoft Teams, Appspace makes it easy to go beyond basic room booking to an upgraded experience that can help employees reserve a desk or a room, and even find their colleagues.” Appspace for Microsoft enhances workplace communications by allowing employees to change from using siloed channels and applications to an omnichannel work style. According to Appspace, companies are struggling to reach employees with company messages and provide the necessary productivity and engagement tools. Using Appspace for Microsoft, employees will be able to connect with their co-workers more effectively, as well as create and share content more quickly and easily. Appspace is being used by 10 million employees, 500 companies, and over 150 Fortune 500 companies.
