Arkadin Launches New Brand: Spoka

Why it matters: Arkadin’s Spoka brings Cisco BroadSoft cloud communications to SMBs with simple pricing, UC, talk and Connect apps. Published on UC Today.

Global provider of cloud communication services, Arkadin, has introduced a new brand, Spoka, intended to support cloud-based innovations for the SMB environment. Arkadin supports its clients in achieving exceptional results from a digitally-connected workplace using the cloud. Currently, the business is responsible for serving more than 50,000 businesses around the world as an NTT Communications company. The new Spoka brand has been developed in partnership with Cisco BroadSoft to give users a straightforward way to access cloud communications.

From instant messaging and file sharing to digital meetings, telephone calls, and more, the Spoka brand will deliver fully-featured communication to businesses, sold via an eCommerce platform. Arkadin has deliberately chosen a simple and easy-to-understand pricing model to remove the need for complicated hardware installation and excessive upfront costs.

What Does Spoka Offer?

The Spoka brand gives entrepreneurs and SMBs an opportunity to embrace the power of cloud communications through a single application. The strategy targets the needs of agile and dynamic organisations, with two straightforward offerings, including:

  • Spoka Talk: The cloud-based phone system combining enterprise-grade calling features with a dedicated phone number with the ability to make unlimited landline calls across 50 countries. Unlimited mobile calls are available across 25 countries, and the system is accessible via PC, app, or desktop phone
  • Spoka Connect: A complete portfolio of UC solutions designed to help SMBs connect to third-party apps like Salesforce, Outlook, Gmail, and more. Connect will give users access to relevant information for improved productivity and efficiency

Currently, there are already plans in place to add extra features and products to the Spoka offering, with solutions intended to meet the specific needs of businesses with key features like flexible and rapid set-up, and non-committal invoicing.

The Spoka brand will be initially launched in Germany, France, and the UK, before expanding into Asia and US regions in the second quarter of 2019. Arkadin SMB customers already with the business will be given a dedicated introductory plan.

With Spoka, Arkadin is proving that you don't need to be a big business to have the communication strategy of one. SMBs and entrepreneurs can now get things done with ease, thanks to Arkadin's new Partnership with Cisco's BroadSoft. According to the CEO of Arkadin, Didier Jaubert, Spoka will deliver a cost-effective and scalable solution that offers access to features that were once only available to large enterprises.

The CEO of BroadSoft, Michael Tessler, said that addressing small business needs is often imperative to our objective to provide businesses with scalable and efficient communication. As companies grow and needs change, it's important for organisations to have the tech they need to transform the way they communicate, collaborate and work. BroadSoft is thrilled to be working with Arkadin going forward.
