Babble Purchases Lake Technologies

Babble’s purchase of Lake Technologies expands cloud-based network services and business telephony, boosting productivity. Published on UC Today.

Babble acquires Lake Technologies

Leading technology business, Babble, is committed to helping companies change the way they work on a massive scale. Since 2001, the company has helped over 2000 clients to transform through immersive cloud-based solutions that enhance flexibility, efficiency, and customer loyalty.

Babble recently announced that it had acquired Lake Technologies Ltd. This purchase represents the second acquisition that Babble has made so far in 2020. Overall, it’s the fourth deal build by the firm to help spur further growth and transformation since it received private equity backing in 2017 from LDC.

Reimagining How Teams Do Business

Lake Technologies provides network services and business telephony services. For over 26 years, the company has been driving successful communication strategies for its clients. Now, these customers will be able to leverage Babble’s technology for some of the most agile and efficient cloud-based solutions. These tools will allow companies to adapt rapidly to the transformational workplace today.

Since receiving private equity backing three years ago, Babble has thrived, consistently delivering strong levels of organic growth. The company remains on track to hit a target revenue of £100 million through a combination of buy and build strategizing, and organic growth.

CEO of Babble, Matt Parker, said that the new purchase is just another step on Babble’s ride towards their target revenue. The organisation is still seeking out further acquisitions alongside LDC to build on this continued momentum. Parker noted that Babble is delighted to have purchased another high-quality company in Lake Technologies.

A Strong Step Forward for Babble

Both Babble and Lake Technologies have a firm focus on improving productivity and boosting customer engagement, while lowering costs. This allows for a rapid return on client investment and better experiences all around.

Investment Director for LDC, Chris Morris said that the team at Babble is fully committed to succeeding in their ambitious growth strategy. LDC are fully supportive of this plan and have provided further funding to ensure that the team can secure the latest deal and continue searching for new opportunities for growth.

Since the 2017 MBO, Babble has also purchased Diva Telecom, Direct Response Plus, and the Arden Group through LDC funding.
