Balto App Embeds into UCaaS for Improved UX

Why it matters: Balto embeds real-time agent guidance into UCaaS, cutting clicks and IT overhead on RingCentral, Avaya, 8x8, Zoom and Cisco. Published on UC Tod

Balto app UCaaS UX integration

Balto has launched a cloud-based embeddable application that can be added directly to an organisation's existing UCaaS platform without needing a separate desktop application.

Traditionally, Balto was a standalone app that allowed contact centre agents to utilise real-time guidance to prevent missed sales opportunities, compliance mistakes, and negative customer experiences.

The app automatically runs when a call begins, and as it exists in an organisation's UCaaS system, users do not have to adjust the windows on their screen.

Marc Bernstein, Balto CEO, said: "We are continually ahead of the market with improvements to the agent experience, removing technical barriers, and reducing time to value for our customers.

"The new embeddable Balto is the perfect example of just that. We are now a part of the single access point for the critical tools that agents need to perform best at their jobs."

According to Balto, the new app-free version creates seamless, hands-off integration to minimise technical interference for IT teams and user workflows.

Due to the embeddable version being cloud-based, IT teams at organisations no longer have to push application updates resulting in reduced security risks for businesses.

Mike Goldstein, Balto CTO, commented: "Agents no longer have to open a separate application to get the benefits of real-time guidance on their calls.

"Agents now have Balto within the most common systems they see every day so that using Balto is a part of their normal workflow.

"This means a simpler screen set up, fewer clicks, and getting suggestions from Balto automatically."

Balto can be integrated with platforms such as RingCentral, Avaya, 8x8, Zoom, Cisco, and more.

The app can be embedded into any application or browser with low-powered hardware, such as Chromebooks, which are also eligible to run it.

Balto says that organisations which cannot embed the new version of the app will still have access to the traditional desktop experience.
