Bandwidth's communication platform is designed to serve a wide and varied audience, which includes a range of software platform owners, enterprise IT specialists, and VoIP professionals. According to Bandwidth, all of their users benefit from the revamped porting experience in their own unique ways. For instance, software product owners will be able to more seamlessly integrate with the Bandwidth porting API, allowing customers to programmatically submit up to 20,000 numbers on demand to the platform.
On the other hand, VoIP innovators using Bandwidth for their core network capabilities will be able to check portability options for thousands of numbers at the same time, coordinating porting dates and times for multiple carriers, instead of managing each number individually. The new number of porting updates will also ease the migration headaches usually faced by modern enterprise IT professionals who may need to migrate their SIP services into a cloud communications platform.
