The Anywhere Work Virtual Event
This week, we announced our upcoming Anywhere Work virtual event, running on the 20th to the 22nd of October. The Anywhere Work 2020 event will be coming to you from UC Summit, featuring insights into the changing workplace, and what it means for today’s business leaders. We’ll be sharing panel discussions form industry leaders, advice from some of the world’s best innovators, and offering you a chance to connect with your peers too. The 2-day lineup will include representatives from market-leading brands like Cisco, RingCentral, LogMeIn, Google, and Workplace by Facebook! Make sure that you don’t miss out!
What’s New in Webex Meetings?
As companies across the globe continue to invest more into collaboration and remote working tools, solutions like Cisco Webex Meetings are more popular than ever. Not to be outdone by competitors like Microsoft and Slack, Cisco recently announced a barrage of updates to its Meetings service. The September 2020 update includes a range of new things to explore, including simpler meeting controls, and new virtual background options.
The latest changes to the Webex Meetings platform promise users a more intuitive way to meet with their colleagues and share ideas. There’s a new centralised meeting lobby for administrators, and automatic locking features to prevent people from entering the conversation too late. You can check out some of the new additions from Cisco in our full report here.
